Certified Phlebotomy Training
The Phlebotomy Technician course prepares students to work in private medical practices, hospitals, medical clinics, laboratories, and other medical facilities. The student will learn how to collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary puncture, process blood specimens, aliquot and centrifugation, and much more!
Prerequisites: 16 years or older to enroll, must have High school diploma or equivalent to take the NHA Exam
National Exams: On the final day of class, students will complete the Medical Assistant Final Exam. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to sit for the NHA National Exams in Phlebotomy, Certified Medical Assistant, and EKG Technician. Earning these nationally recognized credentials gives you a competitive edge and sets you apart in the job market.
